Using Your Card
The ProPay Premium Account with the Prepaid Mastercard is a powerful
tool that allows you to not only accept credit cards, but also to help you
effectively manage your business. Here are some suggestions on how to get the
most out of your ProPay Premium Account and Prepaid Mastercard.
Get your money faster!
Using the Prepaid Mastercard you can access your funds as soon they are
in the "Available Balance" in your ProPay Account. Funds can be accessed instantly at an ATM or at the Point-of-Sale, as opposed to initiating an ACH transfer that takes at least 1 business day:
- Use your Prepaid Mastercard to make purchases at locations where Mastercard Debit Cards are accepted. When given the option, select "Credit" (the card is technically
neither a credit nor traditional debit card but a Prepaid Mastercard).
- Use the Prepaid Mastercard to withdraw cash from any
ATM that is part of the Cirrus Network
Separate your business and personal accounts
The ProPay Premium Account with the Prepaid Mastercard can be used as
an independent business account. There is no need to transfer money to another
account. This can help you:
- Keep your business transactions private.
- Simplify your business by keeping your ProPay Account separate from you
personal accounts.
- Avoid the time (2-4 days) and money ($0.35) required to transfer your balance
to a checking account.
Buy back products
The Prepaid Mastercard allows you to buy back products for your personal
or business use. Replenish your business inventory, order customer products,
or make a personal purchase, all directly using your available ProPay balance.
